The Hinduja brothers, Gopichand and Srichand, have claimed their crown as the richest people in the United Kingdom, according to the annual Rich List survey. It is estimated that industrialists born in India and London have a value of £ 22 billion, an increase of £ 1.35 billion on last year’s list. The brothers beat the British businessman Sir Jim Ratcliffe from the first place. The Soviet businessman Sir Len Blavatnik was the fourth richest, with a fortune of 14,800 million pounds.

Inventor Sir James Dyson was the biggest winner on the list. His wealth grew to £ 12.6 billion, an increase of £ 3.1 billion in a year, sending him from the richest person in the United Kingdom to the fifth position. Sir James recently faced criticism after it was revealed that he was moving his corporate headquarters to Singapore.

The rich list of Sunday Times has a total wealth of Green that falls from 1,050 million pounds sterling in a year to 950 million pounds. The prospect of a government led by Jeremy Corbyn is leading the wealthiest of Britain to move assets and businesses abroad, according to reports. One in 10 of those who were prepared to speak in the Sunday Times Rich List said they were planning what they considered Carmageddon to protect their wealth from tax increases in income and inheritance, including the transfer of assets abroad.

Mr. Corbyn said that the Rich List was a clear reminder of the grotesque inequality that scares our society. The Sunday Times Rich List has its freefall fortune of 1.05 billion pounds in a year to 950 million pounds. But the plummeting still places Sir Philip and his wife Tina in 156th place on the list, less than in 66th place some 12 months earlier. With his wealth reaching almost 5,000 million pounds in 2007, it is the first time in 17 years that Sir Philip has not been listed as a billionaire. Robert Watts, who compiled the list, said he struggles to imagine the magnate returning to the highest levels.

Sir Philip Green may have clung to his knighthood, but we can no longer justify his status as one of the UK’s billionaires, Watts said. It was hit by the collapse of BHS, affecting 11,000 jobs, 19,000 pension holders and leaving a balance of £ 571 million in the pension plan. Sir Philip has also faced a lot of complaints, including groping a female executive and racially insulting an employee. Elsewhere on the rich list, Sir James Dyson reached his highest position in history as he prepares to move Dyson’s headquarters from Wiltshire to Singapore. The employer-backed by the Brexit rose seven places to become the fifth richest person in the United Kingdom, with an estimated wealth of 12,600 million pounds. The Hinduja billionaire brothers have been named for the third time as the richest people in the United Kingdom, according to the Sunday Times Rich List. Family business, the Hinduja Group was founded in Mumbai in 1914, and now has interests around the world, including oil and gas, banking, IT and property. British citizens Sri, 83, and Gopi, 79, who live in London, are two of the four brothers who control the empire. Among the properties they own is the Old War Office in Whitehall, which they hope to reopen as a luxury hotel. The two brothers topped the list of newspapers in 2014 and in 2017.

The brothers David and Simon Reuben, who made their fortune in property, carpet and scrap, are second on the list, with a combined wealth of 18,664 million pounds.  Meanwhile, Sir Philip Green and his wife Tina rank 156th on the list, down from 66 last year. But many of the rich are suffering heavy losses after a year of turmoil in the stock market and political stalemate in Westminster.

Meanwhile, the best on the list of rich music in the United Kingdom, which includes writers and performers, is Andrew Lloyd Webber with a fortune of 820 million pounds. Musician Ed Sheeran doubled his wealth last year, while grime artist Stormzy made his debut on the rich list of young musicians at £ 16m.
